Mastering is still one of the things I love most. I’ve been working in audio since I was 22, and while I’m now officially semi-retired, my passion for great music hasn’t changed.

These days, I’m focused on working 3–4 days a week and being more selective about the projects I take on. Mastering has always been a service business to me, but at this point in my career, it’s about something deeper — the art, and the artist’s commitment to their vision.

I’m especially drawn to projects that are headed to vinyl.

Cutting lacquers has become a true passion of mine, and I’m dedicating more of my time there.

Because of that, I’m no longer taking on digital-only mastering, with a few long-time client exceptions.

That said, if you’ve created something you’re truly proud of — something with heart — I’m always open to taking a listen.

I’ve worked across every genre imaginable, from experimental noise to Zydeco. What matters to me isn’t the style — it’s the soul behind it.

After years of chasing status and deadlines, I’ve shifted my focus. Now it’s about meaningful work, great music, and enjoying the process.

This change has also been shaped by a health condition I’ve been managing since early 2024 — something I’ll continue to live with moving forward. I appreciate your understanding.
